Cloud computing & migration

Build a cloud environment around your workloads and growth plans. MRONA helps plan migration, manage resources and review cost while considering reliability, security and the people who will operate the solution.

Discuss your needs ↗

When this is useful

Start with the right question.

A review can help when servers need renewal, applications grow, cloud bills rise or recovery readiness needs improvement. Not every system must move: start with dependencies and requirements.

What the work can include

From concept to a clear implementation.

01

Readiness and migration

Inventory applications, data and dependencies, then define migration stages, acceptance tests and an appropriate rollback plan.

02

Hybrid and multi-cloud

Coordinate workloads across on-premises systems and AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments according to their suitability.

03

Cost and resource optimization

Review utilization, sizing and idle resources, with recommendations for budgets and monitoring.

04

Backup and operations

Discuss backup, recovery, alerts and operating responsibilities according to service criticality and agreed coverage.

What to expect

Clear outputs before work begins.

  • A workload and dependency assessment with suitable hosting options.
  • A staged migration plan, acceptance tests and a rollback path.
  • A resource and operating-cost estimate with explicit assumptions.
  • An operations, backup and recovery plan based on project requirements.

MRONA approach

1

Assess workloads

Understand applications, data, connectivity and performance requirements.

2

Design

Choose a suitable architecture and define access, resources and budgets.

3

Migrate and verify

Move in agreed stages and review test results.

4

Review operations

Monitor usage and review cost, backups and improvement opportunities.

Frequently asked questions

Answers that help you decide.

How should we choose a cloud provider?+

Compare application compatibility, data-location needs, available services, connectivity, total cost and operating-team experience. No provider is the best fit for every workload.

Does moving to cloud always reduce cost?+

No. Cost depends on architecture, utilization, licensing, data transfer and management. Establish a baseline and estimated budget, then review actual usage instead of assuming guaranteed savings.

How do backup and disaster recovery differ?+

Backup preserves copies that can be restored. Disaster recovery also plans how services, people, procedures and dependencies return to operation, with appropriate time objectives and tests.

Must all systems move at once?+

Migration can be staged according to risk and dependencies. Some systems may suit hybrid architecture or remain on premises; this is determined during assessment.

To get started

Bring what you know. We will work through the rest together.

Prepare an application and server inventory, approximate data volumes, existing bills where available, and performance and recovery requirements. These inputs make option discussions more precise.
